DishWasher Detergent
Making your own Dishwasher Detergent is super easy and affordable! I promise you I have never seen my dishes look so shiny and clean. I had no idea it would be that easy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Borax
- 1 cup Washing Soda
- 1/2 cup of Kosher Salt
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
Directions
- Place Borax, Washing Soda, and Kosher Salt in a resealable plastic container and shake closed container until completely mixed.
Use
- Every time you are ready to wash your dishes place 1 tbsp. of the mixture in the detergent part of the dishwasher and seal.
- Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar either to the bottom of the dishwasher or place in the Jetdry Rinse Agent Dispenser.
- Wash
Dishes will come out looking shiny and clean! I couldn't believe it was that easy. Some recipes I came across called for citric acid however I omitted it. I will update if I decide to use. Also other articles have said that you will need to run "regular" dishwasher detergent through your dishwasher once a month. Again, I will update if I do. So HAPPY clean dishes!
